There’s Airbnb for conventional travelers. And now there’s Naturist BnB for those who enjoy their vacations au naturel.

This online option for nudist travelers provides access to rooms friendly to the naturist lifestyle in Tulum, Cancun and around the world.

The site was created by Finnish couple Petri and Minna Karjalainen, who spotted an underserved niche.

Nudist tourism has received a bump from movies such as “50 Shades of Grey,” which have made going in the buff fashionable.

For nude hiking, a Tulum option is “The Naturalist Jungle,” a 12.5-acre gated retreat where a tent goes for about US$50 a night. “Go to sleep to the symphony of insects wake up to the sounds of toucans and wild parrots,” reads the description. Signs on the camp site discourage sexual activity, asserting that nudism is more about connecting with nature.

On the other hand, Cancun’s Temptation’s resort is known as a “Playground for Grown-Ups” and is famous for its “Sexy Pool.” That site doesn’t show up in a search on Naturist BnB.

Neither does Desire Riviera Maya in Puerto Morelos, which also takes a more sexed-up approach. “The very moment you and your couple arrive, you will be submerged in a dream world of erotic pleasure,” its home page states. The resort offers high-end amenities as well as private beaches and facilities for guests who prefer to go sans clothing.

The only offering in Yucatán state that came up in a recent search was a two-bedroom home for rent in Chicxulub. Nudity is only allowed where neighbors can’t see.

In addition to vacation rentals that are ideal for in-the-buff travelers, the Riviera Maya and Cancun have a variety of resort options such as nude beaches, clothing-optional areas and topless bathing.
