About the artist: Daniel Lezama was born in Mexico in 1968. He studied Visual Arts at the Academy of San Carlos, UNAM, and began his career in 1995. Has been a fellow of Conaculta Fonca and repeatedly. In 2000 he won the Rufino Tamayo Painting Biennale. Since then he has made more than 20 solo exhibitions, among which The Prodigal Mother at the Museum of Mexico City in 2008.
