Season of Sharing bash raises over 112,000 pesos

Yucatan Giving campaign gathers 230 toys for kids at Christmas

The Toys for Joy 4th Annual Holiday Gift drive was a huge success again this year.

With The Flossie-May & Gert Family Fund covering overhead expenses, Season of Sharing finale proceeds of 112,000 pesos went directly to charity. 

The Yucatan Giving Outreach A.C. nonprofit foundation “Season of Sharing” drive began in November with a polo tournament and silent auction. That event raised 245,400 pesos in one day.

The campaign concluded with Sunday’s toy drive at Ochenta y Dos, a soigné catered affair with live music and more than 200 guests and volunteers in attendance. Aside from paying the ticket price and buying raffle tickets, guests brought an unwrapped toy for local children.
