A power cut has been scheduled in Chelem and Chuburná for much of Wednesday.
The electricity utility, CFE, said the outage, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., will allow crews to complete maintenance work on its equipment on Nov. 7. Their memo described new insulation for medium-voltage lines.
In the end, power should be more reliable on these beach communities, according to CFE staff.
