As part of Hyatt Community Grants, the philanthropic program that allows employees to make charitable donations, Hyatt Regency Merida donated US$5,000 to El Hogar de Loreto for its positive impact on the community.

This donation will serve the organization to serve needy children and adolescents with brain injuries, autism and other disabilities with rehabilitation in a homey, supportive atmosphere.

“We are honored to support Hogar de Loreto for their valuable contribution to our community,” said Richard Westell, general manager of Hyatt Regency Merida. “It’s so important for us to be actively involved in our area, and this program gives us a great opportunity to support local organizations that do so much for our city.”

“Receiving this grant is a great honor, and we are grateful to Hyatt Regency Merida to have been selected for this generous contribution,” said Loreto Marrufo, founder and director of Hogar de Loreto. “We know that this donation will be very useful in achieving our goals to continue the expansion of the building, enabling spaces for rehabilitation therapies and to acquire more equipment and hire more specialists. ”

Hyatt Community Grants is in its seventh year giving to worthy causes around the world.
