Jarana Nights at Museum of Yucatecan Gastronomy

Thu., August 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Thursday, repeating indefinitely

Free

Jarana Nights will demonstrate typical regional dances in the inner courtyard of El Museo de la Gastronomía Yucateca, or the Museum of Yucatecan Gastronomy, each Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m.

In collaboration with the Department of Social Development of the City of Merida, MUGY joins the effort to promote and preserve Yucatecan customs. Foreign, national and local visitors will be able to appreciate several groups of children and young people who, led by masters of regional dance, interpret the inherited wealth of their ancestors.
