An oasis on the Centro’s quietest street

[metaslider id=”41104″]

On the quietest street in the Centro, an architect has designed an oasis of a home, both beautiful and functional.

The location is notable for being on a street just one block long, and just three blocks from the city’s main square, Mérida’s Plaza Grande. So it’s walkable to anywhere you want to go in the Historic Center.

The architect designed the home so that all three bedrooms have their own private bath.

On the first level of the home you will find a large airy living area that opens out onto the lush, green central patio, a great chef’s kitchen, a large entry room and garage.

Passing through the central garden patio, you will find both of the ensuite guest rooms.

From the entry room a beautiful staircase leads to the private master suite, as well as a great surprise: a rooftop lap pool.

This oasis was built in 2009 and is totally updated for low-maintenance living. Pressurized water throughout is connected to a water softener and an instant hot-water heater. Air conditioning cools all the bedrooms and living spaces. A fideicomiso — the bank trust that allows foreigners to purchase a home in Mexico — is already in place.

If you fancy the furnishings, they are available for purchase. Some pieces were custom-made for the house.

This oasis home, on Calle 66A, is offered at US$269,000.
